The Santa & Cole FAD Floor Lamp was originally commissioned for (and named after) the Fostering Arts and Design Association in Barcelona. This 1973 design by Miguel Mila combines a natural oak structure with metal and white linen, executing a simple yet beautiful look with intuitive adjustment. The metal stem sits inside the wooden structure, and can be adjusted vertically to bring the light wherever it is needed.

Santa & Cole

Javier Santa, Gabriel Cole and Nina Maso started Barcelona-based Santa and Cole in 1985. The three focused on industrial design and sought out modern light fixtures that provided more than mass or function. They were looking for pieces that instilled a sense of serenity, culture and well-being.
