After years of wanting to install a overhead light in our living room, we finally ordered this fixture. It fits our needs perfectly. Four bulbs on a dimmer can fully illuminate the room or provide appropriate lower light levels. It's close to a flushmount, but has enough presence to work in a living room space. I love the lines and the almost art deco style. I wouldn't recommend installing it yourself. Our electricians found it a bit unusual to install, but it did not take them long and the final effect is great. highly recommended.
