Eye catching modern design

I ordered the white fan with white blades, along with the optional wall control. There are many things to like about the fan: 1. Very modern and classy design. 2. Handheld remote control included. 3. Very light weight. 4. The 56" blades move quite a lot of air. 5. Reversible. 6. DC motor - some folks may be unfamiliar with DC motors, but this is something you'll love once you start using it. Some not so good things: 1. The installation instructions have few errors. I am pretty experiences in hanging fans, so I was able to install this fan easily without much trouble. 2. The blades need to be installed prior to hanging the fan. This is quite opposite to most fans, but is necessary due to the way the blades are designed. 3. The handheld remote, as well the optional wall control use 23AE batteries, which may not be commonly available at your local store when replacements are needed. 4. The wall control is hardwired and at the same time uses a 23AE battery. Without the battery, it won't work. Since it is hardwired, I would have preferred it to draw power from the line, not from the battery. Overall, I am happy with the fan and it complements my modern living room very well.

Whats not to love. Minimalist design, quiet, remote a plus. Great size as a 56", but wish it were a 60. We have the brushed nickel with nickel blades.

Beautiful, simple and quiet

Wow. do we ever love this fan. We have a 9 foot ceiling in a very modern condo. This fan looks fantastic. It is quiet (dc motor) and unobtrusive but when you do notice it, you see how sleek it is. The installation docs were confusing about not having a off/on wall switch. No info about double pole/double trow. We ended up direct wiring it and use the simple remote.

Fan looks great and works well for air circulation but the remote set up and daily use of remote does not work well. Might need a battery change already )two weeks) but I wouldn't` think the included battery would be dead so soon.
