Handmade to capture an organic feel. Pure sophistication runs through the artfully created, veiny surface of the Elancourt Pendant from Alder & Ore. Artisans create the beautiful faux alabaster shade from high-quality resin. These skilled craftsmen produce a material representative of natural stone through delicate swirl patterns and fine veining. The milky notes of the shade pair beautifully with the sleek edge of the steel structure. Suspended with a slim downrod suspension, the piece creates a neat, trim silhouette. The trio of bulbs hidden inside helps to reveal the intricacies of the faux alabaster shade. Light sifts through the artful material, bringing your rooms a warm, spacious aura.
A day trip to Mexico in the 90’s inspired husband and wife David and Jamie to utilize unconventional materials in design. They began incorporating flower pots as lamp bases, and from there the Jamie Young Company was born; focusing on unique materials and taking note on current design trends. By taking influence from their travels and their love of art and history, Jamie Young and David Jeter have sought to build a company that can bring a global aesthetic into a variety of homes.
