EARTH 45 Wall Clock

So happy we bought this . Just got it installed this weekend and I just love it!

The clock is stunning. It is as though we hung a piece of art on our wall but with the added perk of functionality. The words illuminate according to the time and in each corner, there is a a dot that illuminates according to the minute. For instance if it's 12:32, the words on the clock show "half past twelve" and there are two illuminated dots, one in each corner. We also discovered that the color metal plate you choose is attached via strong magnets, allowing one to change the color if desired. The different colored face plates are sold separately and are easy to install. The clock itself took more time to install than we anticipated as the clock needs to be plugged into an outlet, so we had to create two holes in the wall so we could hide the wire. Overall, would highly recommend this unique piece.

This clock is so cool! It was easy to hang and easy to set the time. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this clock.

I'm not sure I would have purchased this, had I not had the opportunity to see in person once, but it is absolutely unique, and unlike anything else out there in terms of style and function. High quality product, versatile, mostly well-engineered, and beautiful. Minor quibbles. Product description makes it unclear if it comes with a stand (it does), and downloadable app for setting the time is not actually in the Apple App Store (but other company apps are), which lead to some confusion before finding elsewhere on the internet. Lastly, some unfortunate engineering with the stand, where too much "play" upon inserting the clock exists, causing a front to back wiggle/risk for your thousand dollar clock to topple and break if nudged. It appears the company has come up with a work-around to shim the clock in place with small pieces of metal, but this is hardly foolproof, rather inelegant, and slightly confusing, as the illustrated shim instructions contradicted written instructions, and were clearly written by non native English speakers.

Appearance is true to picture, like an art piece & functional at the same time. For the price, could've included screws for mounting & a textile cord (have to pay $50 extra.)
