Made in Poland
The Vitra Eames House Bird is taken from a black wooden figure that Charles & Ray Eames kept at the heart of their home. While its exact origin was unknown, it was evidently a piece of American folk art much appreciated in Eames House. The figure is replicated here out of Black-lacquered solid alder with steel wire legs.

I purchased this for my significant other and she just can't get enough of how beautiful it is. It's become a centerpiece on her coffee table. She's very pleased, as am I as a result.
