Key Features

Made in USA
A modern vision from a past era. Introduced in 1950, the Herman Miller Eames® Desk Unit 20 reveals the “machine aesthetic” with Japanese influences, combining standardized parts with cross-supports, uprights and perforated panels for a beautiful industrial touch. Features dimpled plywood on cabinet fronts and shelves, as well as on drawer fronts to reinforce the mid-century modern appearance. Comes in multi-color schemes reminiscent of a Mondrian painting or neutral birch veneer tones for a contemporary, high-tech look.

Great style, I especially enjoy the whimsy of the multicolor option. Large desktop makes for a highly functional work area. Limited drawer space, however. Shipping took a few weeks, but otherwise a great order experience. And Herman Miller products hold their value because of their timelessness and durability, in case of redecoration down the road.

Herman Miller

One of the most influential brands in American design, renowned for pioneering iconic mid-century modern furniture and lighting solutions, Herman Miller began its storied history in 1905 as Star Furniture Co. in Zeeland, Michigan. In 1923, businessman Herman Miller lent his name to the company, signaling a new chapter under the visionary leadership of his son-in-law, D.J. De Pree. This marked the beginning of Herman Miller's transformation into kingmakers of mid-century design.
