Nice and bright, but needs a dimmer

This light looks great and gives a lot of light. At full power it's a little harsh in a domestic setting, so it needs a dimmer.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

The light is cool..we put it in a long hallway, where we previously had aa old fashioned, boring glass dome like thing..Boring, no more! That's the good part... On the other hand, the light it gives off is very harsh and glare-y..We put a dimmer in, and it helps a bit, but still not the welcoming glow I was hoping for. I understand it is a LED and not super warm...and for some it will be fine, but I wouldn't buy again.. But it does look cool!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
