As reflected in this piece, designers Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda approach their work with an emphasis on simplification. Their clean design aesthetic is so easy on the eyes it feels natural with a range of home styles. The duo takes a classic table lamp’s base, column, and shade and refines it with crisp geometry. Standing over a clean-edged aluminum base, a tapered column gives the piece a slender silhouette. Beautiful and familiar, a polycarbonate shade comes over the top in a classic shape. The piece sets itself apart with a top-mounted, geometrically arranged LED module. The LEDs produce a warm glow that evenly glazes the shade from top to bottom. The light creates an inviting ambient aura around the piece.
