The metal edge where the glass meets it is not the most refined. I wouldn't have pay money for it myself but it's a good light in terms of color temperature and in a small profile

The fixture is beautiful and the quality and brightness of the light perfect for my dark hallway. Installation was a little tricky and frustrating because the frosted glass does not line up flush over the frame/mount and the screws holding it in place don't feel stable. I wish companies would stop having everything made in China - especially on the higher end pieces like this lamp.
