The Degas Desk from Noir celebrates midcentury modernism through its ÒTÓ-shaped silhouette, which balances a clean rectangular surface on angled walnut supports. Two symmetrical drawers flank the open knee space, each featuring minimal black pulls that disappear into the wood grain. Sharp edges define every line and corner, while the walnut construction highlights the material's natural character. This desk strips away unnecessary ornament, letting architectural form and quality craftsmanship speak through confident geometric proportions and honest material expression.

Noir

Noir is an American furniture and lighting design company based in Gardena, CA. Founded in 2004 by Swiss native and designer Georg Bahler and Stephanie Lu, Noir produces Bahler’s designs. Each piece is hand-crafted and inspired by his European upbringing, art and furniture history, music, fashion, popular culture and mother nature. Noir’s hallmarks include the use of raw materials and solid woods when possible, atypical materials, and experimentation to create uncommon and unapologetically bold designs from the mind of Georg Bahler.
