The Daruma Table Lamp from FontanaArte features a rounded, vase-like base in glossy white blown glass, crowned by a gently domed lid that completes its compact, spherical silhouette. Designed by Sergio Asti and made in Italy, the lamp emits a soft, diffused glow through its frosted glass diffuser, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere. A discreet on/off switch and black power cable provide functional contrast to the luminous glass body.

FontanaArte

Architect Gio Ponti founded FontanaArte lighting in Milan in 1932 after serving as the artistic director of Luigi Fontana Company. The focus was on stained glass and its awe-inspiring presence in churches and cathedrals. In 1979, the contemporary lighting company is purchased by several private buyers and is revitalized to include well-known architects and glass artists.
