The Darby Picture Light from Alora Lighting, designed by Peyton Fox, draws on classic library and pharmacy fixtures, pairing an elongated cylindrical shade with an adjustable arm that swivels to aim light exactly where it is needed. Metal forms the entire fixture, giving it a substantial, weighty feel true to its vintage-inspired origins. Mounted above artwork, shelving, or a mirror, the light casts a focused downward wash, adding a decorative accent suited to traditional and transitional interiors alike.

Alora Lighting

Alora Lighting has emerged as the luxury wing with transitional designs that transcend genres. Beauty of form is first and foremost for Alora, with creative designs executed using exceptional materials. Their brand name is said to derive from the Greek word for “shining light,” and Alora is dedicated to becoming a beacon of quality and client satisfaction. While Alora’s partner brand, Kuzco Lighting, has had a significant impact on the contemporary LED lighting market, Alora Mood, a subset of Alora Lighting, was launched to provide simple, yet impactful pieces for the home.
