Crestfield Low Profile Ceiling Fan

Great fan for my two bedrooms/office. Low profile made sense because of ceiling height.

It puts out a good amount of air but the pulsing humming noise is maddening.

really like the design of my new ceiling fan and lights...... only draw back is that the lights are almost toooooo bright so I had to unscrew one of them and may have to unscrew another.

Fan works exactly as expected. Nice and bright, tight construction, no wobble. A winner.

We had two of these fans in our living room in bronze and get a lot of compliments on their design. I ordered another one in Matte Silver to put in our bedroom, but the quality was not the same. The finish on all the components is splotchy like it was haphazardly spray painted. More importantly, the housing has two notches opposite from one another that are designed to keep it secure (in addition to 4 screws). One of these notches must have been machined poorly because there was absolutely no way to get it around the motor bracket. Of course I only discovered this once I had spent a considerable amount of time taking down the old fan and wiring up the new one. I ended up having to run a file over the notch to shave it down enough so the housing could slip on properly. For these reasons, I cannot give this fan 5*s.
