The Configuration Coffee Table from Jamie Young Co. is a low drum raised on a recessed plinth that leaves a shadow line beneath its rounded body. Artisans assemble fragments of burl wood veneer into a mosaic that wraps the top and sides, revealing the natural depth and intricate pattern of the wood in loose, irregular patches. A steel base ring grounds the hollow structure, and the markings within the veneer make each artisan-crafted table one of a kind.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
