Beautiful. Sleek. Couldn't be happier. Quiet. I flush mounted it though I initially ordered a down rod. Very classy. Simple

I bought three of these for different rooms on different floors. They all made a low hum noice to the point it wasn't comfortable being in the room while they were running. They also "talked" to each other so that the ones on the second floor were operated by using the wall control on the first floor. I noted all this for Casablanca and they sent new fans. The second round of fans still produced the noice but they "talked" appropriately. Casablance then offered to replace them all again but would not offer any type of refund because 45 days had lapsed from the original purchase date. They are such a poor quality fan I eventually replaced all three with a different brand of fan that works great. I would not recommend this fan at all.

I love the look of this fan. Now that it's up I see I could have gotten the longer fan blade but this is fine in this small bedroom. Love the controls that replace the wall switch rather than having a remote control kicking around.

The design is fine. Short blades are an interesting idea but to get real air flow you have to run at high speed. Hook to hang motor while installing works great. Everything except wiring goes together easily. Wiring diagram confusing. Says works with single switch but does not show all wire connections. Must be trying to be "International" uses terms like "Live In" and "Live Out" Very poor explanation of "Sync" as well as the 7 buttons and the "Long Press" with multiple combinations of buttons to make special features work. Need practice to figure out press vs. long press. Has blue light flashes sometimes not others. "I figured it out, not easy." Enter a dark room, find switch, be sure to remember which of the 7 buttons does what. Needs at least a little LED. Some magic configuration left fan running after power button pressed to off!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Casablanca Fan Company

Burton A. Burton originally joined the U.S. ceiling fan market with a belt-driven ceiling fan intended for commercial use. Then the energy crises of the mid-1970s hit, and Burton took his ceiling fan to the residential market, officially kicking off the Casablanca Fan Company in 1974. As the market grew, so did Casablanca Fans' line of decorative ceiling fans.
