Made by blowing and stretching a long tube, then wrapping that tube around a form made out of a section of log, the glass master shapes, stretches and pulls each object into its final unique shape.

SkLO

Located in Northern California, SkLO is the brainchild of artist Karen Gilbert, architect Paul Pavlak, and Czech-native Pavel Hanousek. The three met in Healdsburg in 2009, and after discovering a unanimous passion for hand-blown glass (sklo means “glass” in Czech), they decided to create a multi-disciplinary studio focusing on glass lighting and accessory design.
