Comments about Claridge Teardrop Table Lamp

Base is wobbly. Lamp missing bracket to hold bike. So shade sits on base. No rocker switch as advertised. Poor experience

I received the lamp in perfect condition. It is gorgeous! I love the fact that you can dim the light. It is very heavy and sturdy feeling. The lamp shade is well-made. This is a very glamourous lamp and a perfect complement to any room.

Better than expected.

The base of this lamp is solid glass. As a result, the surface on which it sits gets reflected up through the glass giving the lamp a very dynamic appearance based on your vantage point. The 2D photo on the web site is not able to capture this behavior, but we were very pleasantly surprised. Our designer commented that the lamps looked "small", but we feel that they fit the space well. Take a look at the dimensions so that there is no negative surprise there.

It's always difficult to imagine how something will look from it's picture alone, but this lamp exceeded my expectations. The crystal bottom is quite lovely whether the sun shines on it or not, the shade is a beautiful style. The switch has that lovely soft "click" when you turn it on and off, and an added plus is the dimmer. The other thing I particularly like is the weight of the lamp which is extremely solid. Even the cord blends with the whole piece. I am very satisfied and believe it worth the money.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
