Made in Italy
Launched in 2005 by designers Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto, the Luceplan Queen Titania is an extra-large version of the 1989 original. Its unique aluminum lamellar shell is made up of sequenced aluminum ribs, reflecting and de-materializing the light source. The pendant assumes different shapes depending on its angle: it is transparent when seen head on, and solid-looking when seen from the side.

Although not installed yet, will look awesome in the space intended for. A perfect accent piece with much pizazz and detail which will complement the Tube House!

I had a hard time finding a fixture large enough for our dining room. This light is very nice and works well in a Contemporary setting.

This Queen Titania was the biggest splurge for my new house, but it was worth every penny. It takes a skilled hand to assemble and install it. Once it was up, it surpassed my expectations. Make sure you install it with a dimmer switch to get the light level just right. Make sure you also buy the counter weight to adjust it to interesting level. I also bought the violet and green filter, and it was a good choice. Good luck.

Luceplan

Established in 1978 by architects Riccardo Sarfatti, Paolo Rizzatto and Sandra Severi, Luceplan defined its goal of democratic quality design, free of stylistic clichés and opulence, from the very onset. This approach--soon acknowledged by the market and numerous international awards--was perfected when Alberto Meda, an engineer with a passionate love for design, joined the team in 1984.
