The Cast Women Sculptures, Set of 3 from Phillips Collection celebrates the female figure, a subject artists have returned to throughout history. Each of the three abstracted forms rises tall and narrow in its own subtle pose, with planes and angles that recall Cubist sculpture. Produced from a mix of concrete and composite, the surfaces take on an aged patina that convinces the eye they were carved from stone, and every figure stands on a square base.
