Instructions should be re-written with tips. Install these screws on the ground before installing all of them in the air. All the Parts did not arrive at the same time. 12" Down Rod was a day late although they all shipped from the same place on the same day - Thank you FEDEX Ground, you ruined the installation. All the parts should come in one package Not 3. FAN, Down rod There should be an Installation cover for the motor. If you drop a screw above the motor while installing, it could fall inside the motor vents on the top of the Fan and damage the fan. I had to improvise and cover the vents to the motor in case I dropped something above. The 2 screws that hold the most upper flange in place are too small and short. They need to be larger so that you can actually hold them and screw them in. You need really small fingers to hold them in place.

I lost the remote control for a Casablanca fan. I contacted Casablanca to request their recommendation to replace the lost control. I provided the fan model number and bought the control. However, the recommendation was incorrect, contacted them they refunded the money, I ordered a different control but they were unable to speed delivery so I have to wait another 10 days without a working fan, temperatures are high at my place of residence

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

My dog chewed up my remote. I was afraid the new one wouldn't work with all these bad reviews. I read them ALL and saw to turn off breaker to the fan and it worked the first time. So many people have no patience. It was quite simple. Thank you!

Does not work! Fan syncs with wall switch not remote. I have a battery tester and I know the batteries are good. Asked for support at first said they were "Working on it" Then just dead silence.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Casablanca Fan Company

Burton A. Burton originally joined the U.S. ceiling fan market with a belt-driven ceiling fan intended for commercial use. Then the energy crises of the mid-1970s hit, and Burton took his ceiling fan to the residential market, officially kicking off the Casablanca Fan Company in 1974. As the market grew, so did Casablanca Fans' line of decorative ceiling fans.
