The absence of a reverse function on the remote is a serious flaw.

I Bought two 99019 remotes in 2021 for a complete remodel project. They were installed early 2022 at the end of the remodel. One still works perfect, but the one in the guest bedroom, which hardly ever gets used, quit working after 6 months. It was only used maybe 12 times at the most. Paid my electricians to come take apart the fan to be sure it wasn't an installation issue. It is not and now it is out of warranty. Extremely frustrating because these remotes are NOT Cheap!

Exposed screws included for attaching the included wall plate are silver plated and do not match the cream colored wall plates. Further, the included screws are machine screws, making them useless for installing directly to the wall.

I need to replace the battery on my 99019 remote and I can't remove it. I've tried all sizes of Philips head and flat screwdrivers, but none of them work. IDo you happen to have any tricks I might try?

This is a replacement for a unit that was purchased about two years ago. We bought this same unit to pair with a Casablanca fan. The remote just stopped working, so we had to buy a new one. It is working properly now. We didn't expect that the unit would fail so quickly. We hope this one has a longer life.
