Comments about Caracas 2-Light Floor Lamp
Lamp is pretty. Love the style but it's all messed up how the pull chains are positioned on both lights. I can't get the lamp shades on correctly because the pulls chains were installed incorrectly /weird and are blocking being able to turn the shades to be able to hide the seams on both. We tried everything. It looks like it would have to be completely taken apart at the top and the pull chains put on differently but I'm not an electrician. I just didn't have the energy to have to call have someone come pick this thing up to ship it back to have something else sent so I'm just dealing with it. I had to jury-rig it to look right. Also Lumens suggested to buy the light bulbs -which I did. Bought two of them. The candelabra style with the skinny screw base. Those were totally the wrong style light bulbs. Not only were they the incorrect wattage but this takes the regular E26 (think that's the code) wider screw base lightbulbs and 40 watts. Not the skinny bases. So that annoyed me also. Why does lumens suggest to buy bulbs that don't fit the items they sell- or suggest the correct light bulbs if it's going to auto populate that when you add the item to your cart?!?! If it's going to suggest you're going to need bulbs it should tell you the correct ones!! I couldn't find it listed in the listing for the lamp which kind. I even checked Adler's website and couldn't find it either. So I thought Lumens must know. I had family visiting from out of town. I just didn't feel nor did I have time to mess with returning everything. I'm disabled and can't just pick things up shove it in a huge box as big as me and stick all of it my car. It's just not easy for me. It's fine. It works. Just more annoying more than anything.
