This is my second of these (1 large, now 1 med) and they are expensive, yes, but understated beauties. No plastic box that might look similar online can stand up to this thick smooth rounded glass. I get incandescents and put hue bulbs in them and the color and brightness control is amazing. I can set sunrise/sunset times and transition rates and it's perfect. Even my doubting wife is sold, and I plan to buy another large, 2 meds for each side of it, then 2 smalls at each side of those, 9 hue bulbs, and make a museum-quality masterpiece on my bedroom long wall. They can be changed to any scene, follow the time of day, move to music, and the diffusion is awesome. We are so happy.
