The Cameo Rechargeable LED Table Lamp from FontanaArte is designed to sit within a space rather than dominate it. Studio Claesson Koivisto Rune drew the concept from the theatrical idea of a cameo appearance: present, purposeful, but not seeking the spotlight. The body is blown glass in glossy white, paired with a chrome metal frame and a matching decorative ring that carries the FontanaArte logo in serigraph. A touch button controls both power and dimming, and the rechargeable battery provides up to eight hours of use on a single charge.

FontanaArte

Architect Gio Ponti founded FontanaArte lighting in Milan in 1932 after serving as the artistic director of Luigi Fontana Company. The focus was on stained glass and its awe-inspiring presence in churches and cathedrals. In 1979, the contemporary lighting company is purchased by several private buyers and is revitalized to include well-known architects and glass artists.
