There’s no shortage of charm and functionality packed into the head-topping, light-bringing, and sound-softening BuzziHat LED Pendant from BuzziSpace. It’s an Alain Gilles piece, a designer whose focus centers on creating social and interactive design solutions. This communal approach to design comes through in the pendant’s fabric material that helps ease mid and high tones coming from around the pendant. Artisans upholster the fabric like a traditionally crafted hat. This functional hat attracts in its curved top and ring accents. The flaring shade below directs the light while an opaque lens mellows its brilliance. The piece is great for both ambiance and comfortable downlighting.
