The Button Pendant from Kalco Lighting extends the collection's textile-inspired vocabulary into suspended form, where cylindrical rope panels create a drum-like volume punctuated by spherical metal details. The vertical orientation of natural fiber elements generates height while the structured framework provides geometric clarity. Light filters through woven material to produce diffused illumination that highlights abaca rope construction. Fabric techniques translate successfully into lighting design, maintaining both material authenticity and structural purpose in a composition that speaks to craft traditions.

Kalco Lighting

In the early 1980s, seeking more than the sterile lighting options available, Harry Kallick had a vision to provide consumers with options that were aesthetically driven and paired with unmatched quality. Since then, Kalco has created fixtures by specializing in hand-forged, hand-finished artisan lighting fixtures. Their Las Vegas facility hand-forges metalwork, while the branch in the Philippines is dedicated to hand-selecting the raw materials and hand-finishing and polishing the decorative elements. By offering a wide range of styles from contemporary to classic, Kalco Lighting will be at home in several environments.
