Matthew Williams designed the Brisby Bench from Uttermost around a chiseled cast iron base, finished in a distressed charcoal tone for a rugged, textured look. On top, a casual ivory and light gray boucle fabric softens that industrial base with an upholstered seat. The contrast between rough metal and soft fabric gives this bench a quiet, understated presence in an entryway or bedroom.

Uttermost

The Uttermost venture started in 1975 when Bob and Belle Cooper opened shop in Rocky Mountain, Virginia, largely as a manufacturer of mirrors. Still family owned, Uttermost has expanded to include many more lighting fixtures in their line and has a branch in Riverside, California as well as a strong working relationship with their employees in Guanxi, China.
