• Brush off loose dirt. Simply wash with a mild detergent and water, rinse with clear water, and dry thoroughly. For the Teak, quickly clean as much of the spillage as possible by dabbing the area clean with a clean, absorbing cloth. Use clean water to spray dirt away from the surface and dry thoroughly. To maintain teak’s golden hue, apply a teak oil or sealer once or twice a year. For deeper restoration, lightly sand the wood with 120–220 grit paper before applying oil to revive its warm, amber tone. To achieve teak’s gray patina, place the product in direct sunlight and accept the natural transformation process, which may initially result in temporary stains and patchy appearances that will eventually evolve into a uniform patina in 6 to 12 months.
