Key Features
A fluid curve makes for a functional powerhouse in the versatile Biny LED Wall Sconce from DCW Editions. Named and designed by the renowned French lighting designer Jacques Biny, the sconce shows modern design at its most refined. Jacques’ work sought to balance technique and aesthetic with the needs of the day’s architecture. Here, the home’s architecture is respected with low-profile mounting hardware that creates a floating look. The metal structure comes forward with a tight curve to also act as the shade. This shade blocks glare from the lamping and reveals its brilliance with a row of perforations. The lamping glazes the structure’s interior and the back wall with a cozy golden hue.
Founded in 2008 but reproducing iconic products from throughout history, DCW éditions has consistently delivered in merging the old with the new. Utilizing classic shapes in a new way, this French designer company strives to create pieces that possess both enduring design and quality. Their mission is to gather inspiration from the past and look to the future, creating products that are utilitarian and stylish in the present.
