The Beat LED Floor Lamp from Tom Dixon has a minimalist and modern style that's rooted in tradition. Skilled artisans in India spin, weld, and beat the lights by hand in a process that takes four days to complete, and they leave the hammer marks in the shade. The conical shade can angle up and down with a hinge on the stem, giving you more control over the light direction. The base is made out of cast iron for stability, and the stem and shade are constructed from premium aluminum.

Tom Dixon was founded in 2002 with a lofty goal: to revive the British furniture industry. Even as it was founded, the company already had a sort of rebellious, inventive reputation based on the preceding career of the man himself.
