Terrible quality, very disappointed

Comments about Battery Operated LED Slim-Line Picture Light
Extremely disappointed with the quality of this lamp, especially for the price. The side screw sticks out and is a bright blue-silver color that clashes with the pewter finish. It should be flush and properly finished so it is not visible. The lamp arm arrived crooked and had to be forced straight. It also droops down. The light switch is surrounded by a ring of clear plastic, which looks very cheap. The box itself is uneven and not level. The sides are inconsistent, which made installation difficult. The back wall plate is also finicky and uneven. What should have been a 10-minute install took over 1.5 hours due to irregular measurements. The material is misleading. This is not substantial metal, but thin sheet metal that feels flimsy and low quality. I was looking for a pewter finish, battery-powered lamp in a very specific size, and this technically met those needs. However, the craftsmanship and build quality are unacceptable. This is effectively a zero-star product and highly overpriced. It's passed the 30 days of receipt, if not would've returned before installing.

Not putting out enough brightness
Beware, does not match the hardwired version!

Bought two of these to go in a room with the matching hardwired one. Unfortunately did not notice that these use LED and produce a VERY different kind of light to the hardwired version. Very disappointing and did not discover until up on the wall

this is a good option when you don't want to have a lot of wiring done. Looks good. The light is a little harsh.
sleek
simply stunning. installation was simple and seamless. The look is great and it gives you the ability to bring light to artwork without having to destroy walls. The brass finish is subtle and very sleek.
