Brass Avant garde Modern Bathroom Wall Sconces

Why We Love Bathroom Sconces

Wall sconces for the bathroom help define the character of the space while also providing an ample source of light. And in a room where lighting is critical for any vanity related task, it's important to have fixtures that offer an abundance of bright light output. From transitional styled vanity sconces and retro-inspired wall lights to those fitting a purely modern bathroom, you're sure to find a sconce here you will love.

Sconces are a key fixture in the bathroom and typically find their home mounted above or next to the vanity mirror. These modern vanity sconces are also damp and wet rated, making them safe for use next to the bathroom sink or the bathtub. While they may not be the focal point of your bathroom's design, sconces add to the layout of the room and complement other sources of light in the space. Whether you need vertical sconces or those that line the wall horizontally, you'll find designs here that easily fit in. And the understated beauty of wall sconces is that they are able to fit in almost any kind of aesthetic.

A Bath Sconce for Every Style

Whatever aesthetic your bathroom follows, you'll find a complementing wall light in this assortment. The LED bathroom sconces from WAC and Kuzco Lighting help you achieve energy efficiency in the space while also fitting a noticeably contemporary design. Transitionally styled bathrooms benefit from modern bathroom sconces in the Hudson Valley Lighting collection and if it is a traditional space you are decorating, look to the sconces from Elk Lighting. Finally, with brass finishes becoming a trend in modern bathroom design, you will want to see the sconces offered by Arteriors. Whatever layout and design your throne room may have, there's a wall sconce here to fit it.

Choosing the Best Vanity Wall Sconces

Begin your sconce selection by deciding where your lighting will be placed. While most bathroom sconces are positioned in relation to the vanity or the mirror, this collection allows you to be creative with your wall lighting. First, determine if you would prefer vertical wall sconces or horizontal wall sconces to flank your bathroom mirror. Next, you'll want to choose your options by the colors and finishes that most appropriately fit into your bathroom's decor. Consider the finish of your mirror, the sink and the shower/tub. Introducing new light fixtures into the space is easy if you can blend them in with your existing color scheme. Lastly, review the light's lumen output to decide if it will be bright enough for your vanity (keeping in mind bright light is great for certain bathroom tasks). And finally, check the fixture's required light bulb to be prepared with the right bulbs at installation. To set the mood in your bathroom, consider adding a dimmer to your wall sconces. Dimmers are relatively easy to install with any bathroom light fixture and can help create a peaceful space (ideal for relaxing in the bath tub). Contemporary dimming switches and wall plates in the Legrand Adorne will match the style of your space and you will be impressed with the cutting edge technology.
