The Barnstead Pendant from Uttermost draws on industrial barn lighting with a broad angled shade above an exposed Edison-style socket. Designed by Carolyn Kinder, its antique copper finish warms the metal surface and adds depth to the straightforward shape. The open underside directs light downward, making the pendant practical over counters, breakfast tables, or work surfaces. An adjustable cord changes the hanging height to suit different ceiling levels while preserving the fixture’s straightforward construction.

Uttermost

The Uttermost venture started in 1975 when Bob and Belle Cooper opened shop in Rocky Mountain, Virginia, largely as a manufacturer of mirrors. Still family owned, Uttermost has expanded to include many more lighting fixtures in their line and has a branch in Riverside, California as well as a strong working relationship with their employees in Guanxi, China.
