- Machine wash fabric. Do not dry clean or tumble dry. You can iron at a temperature up to 110 degrees Celcius, or treat with bleach. To care for polypropylene rope, spray with soapy water and then rub lightly into rope with soft cloth. Clean your teak furniture with a damp towel or sponge using a mild solution of water and non-aggressive soap. For grease stains, scrub with teak degreaser and brush, and rinse in water. For mold and mildew, lightly sand with fine sandpaper.
