Key Features
Airy, and elegant, the Antenna Pendant by Forestier brings a clever contemporary style to its surroundings. Designed by Arik Levy in 2016, it starts with around metal canopy that drops a cloth cord to a single socket housing. The lamping shines out strongly below, while a tartan pattern of hand-woven wires surrounds it from the sides, creating a complex curtain structure that gentles bright light from the sides into a gentle ambiance all around it.
Grounded in a passionate reverence for the ceaseless beauty of the natural world, it was a mesmerizing appreciation for the ornamental aspects of French gardens that provided the tipping point for Bernard Forestier to found his namesake company in 1992. Remaining true to those original aesthetics -- proportionality, balance, juxtaposing clean and curvy lines -- Forestier continues to move forward, employing new material mediums and pushing stylistic boundaries while continuing to advance the core disciplines upon which the company was built.
