The gold metal was rough with a cheaply done spray paint job. For almost 100$ a light I expected much higher quality. Definitely returning these.

George Kovacs was born 1926 in Vienna, Austria. After moving to the US, Kovacs was enticed in 1954 to market J.T. Kalmar lamps. Inspired by the success of that endeavor--and the observed popularity of such contemporary lighting--Kovacs expanded his lighting import and design business (with locations throughout New York).
