I bought this for my new condo. You can see straight through from the living room sofa to the dining table to the screened porch. I wanted something that would add pizzaz without blocking daylight or the view. This fixture is perfect. I also got the single light version for the kitchen breakfast nook -- they match but aren't the same. And finally, Lumens sent me a free George Kovacs table lamp, a very cool little guy!
