The Allumettes Flushmount from ET2 Lighting features a hexagonal canopy, its lines echoed in the faceted globe suspended just beneath it, so the two elements seem to continue one another's form. Multiple flat-cut surfaces wrap the sphere in narrow tape red segments, catching and scattering light across dozens of small planes as it passes through. Built from steel and crystal, it pairs an architectural mount with a jewel-like diffuser for an effect that feels both structured and luminous.

ET2 Lighting

ET2 Contemporary Lighting was established in 2004 by Jacob Sperling as a contemporary lighting complement to the more traditional offerings of its parent company, Maxim Lighting International. Based in City of Industry in California (alongside Maxim), ET2 was a success from the very beginning, tapping into the need for artful, intriguing--and cost effective--modern lighting for the home and hospitality.
