The Ace Floor Lamp from Seascape Lamps is slender, simple, and stately, elevating a handmade paper drum shade around central lamping. The fixture is made in the USA, and enhances but does not overpower its surroundings, resting on a heavily weighted wood cylinder base that coordinates with a slender stem. The slim stem and solid base almost disappear under the direct downlight cast by the lamp, while the warm glow that emerges from within the bespoke paper shade casts a uniquely shadowed ambiance to the sides, appearing to float when lit.
