The Innit Designs Acapulco Outdoor Chair is cool in more ways than one. Based on the original 1950s design, it has an open and airy yet ergonomic and supportive open weave vinyl seat inspired by traditional Mayan hammock weaving techniques. The pear-shaped seat and architectural steel frame give the chair a retro-modern aesthetic suitable both indoors and out. Note: Chrome and copper frame finishes are suitable for indoor use only.

I purchased 2 chairs from another merchant and loved them along with receiving tons of compliments. They last 2 seasons. These chairs are substantially better quality with solid steel base. I love the shape, and quite comfortable. They take up less space than many outdoor chairs/rockers.

Innit Designs

After moving from Toronto to Puerto Escondido, Mexico, in 2002, Paul Yacht opened a small bookstore/surf shop/bar/outdoor movie theater. Wanting seating for the beach cinema that was easy to clean and had a fun, retro look, Yacht chose locally woven "Acapulco" chairs. After receiving numerous requests for these unique and surprisingly comfortable chairs, Yacht decided to make the chairs himself and export them to the U.S. and Canada. With that, Innit Designs was born.
