The stool carries a clean silhouette that reflects Morrison’s discrete, “super normal” approach to design. The recycled aluminum construction of the base is anything but “super normal,” as it’s made using the company’s renowned 77-step handcrafted process. 1-inch square tubing is meticulously bent to shape, creating a balanced structure outlined by a neat footrest. While pleasing in looks, the stool pleases your bottom with a low-profile seat cushion, beautifully upholstered in a form-hugging indented surface.

Electrical Machine and Equipment Company (Emeco) was founded in 1944 by Wilton Carlyle Dinges in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Dinges' first assignment came from no other than the U.S. government, to manufacture a strong yet lightweight chair that could withstand water, salt air and rowdy sailors. The result was the iconic Emeco Navy Chair, made enitrely out of durable machined aluminum.
