The Woodgrain Decorative Box with Navy Lacquer from Jamie Young Co. has a shallow rectangular form capped off with a flat lid, and accentuated by swirling grain-like markings across the surface. The body is made of paper-wrapped manufactured wood with hand-applied navy lacquer, and the metal hinges provide strong, precise functionality. The glossy finish follows the flame-like markings across the sides, drawing attention while storing jewelry, watches, remotes, charging cords, or other small items inside.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
