The Santa & Cole Wally Cestita Wall Sconce is exemplary of Miguel Mila’s design sensibilities in 1962, featuring the now iconic white globe shade that is belted with simple metal structural elements. Perched on a slender ledge and attached to a rectangular backplate, Wally is fully secured with a matching metal ring, separating the glass diffuser in to two distinct halves. The resulting light is comfortable to look at, fully diffusing a warm ambience around the fixture.

Good looking light with weird back plate

This is an attractive light but pay attention to the details of the mounting plate. The drawings show a 1.2" spine at the back of the light but there is also a 3.9" rectangular mounting plate that is not shown
