A purist form with a timeless aesthetic. The Funiculi A Fabric Wall Lamp designed by Lluis Porqueras for Marset complements both traditional and contemporary spaces. While Porqueras stays true to his original 1979 design, the addition of a tapered Fabric lamp shade softens the wall lamp’s sleek, functional form and directs the warm white LED light outwards and downwards. Made of lacquered Iron, 2 clamps on the rod allow a height adjustment of up to 10 inches for optimal lighting. An easy to reach on/off switch on the cable makes for practical bedside lighting. Equip this wall lamp with an E12 LED bulb and it becomes a sophisticated reading lamp in a library or sitting room.

Marset

Marset was established in 1942 as a family business, not making lighting, but as a foundry. That foundation in casting metals did eventually segue into lighting design, however, with Francisco Marset formally establishing Marset Illuminacion in 1965. The decades spent experimenting with and molding metal translated well into the contemporary lighting industry: manipulating all kinds of materials to create unexpected, atmospheric lighting effects.
