This switch works great

build.com/Works as expected with our Minka Aire Rudolph F727 fan. The Rudolph fan came with a light kit, as well as a single combo switch with dual sliding controls, one for the light and one for the fan speeds. We hated the combo switch because it was a pain to turn the room light on or off with the recessed sliding control. The sliding fan control side was not a problem. Since I had a two gang box there, I divided the functions by installing two separate switches: One "normal" rocker switch to control just the light, and this Minka Aire switch with just the one sliding control for the fan. It was all easy to hook up and everything works great. As other reviewers have mentioned though, the sliding scale for fan speed on this switch is counter-intuitive when you first use it. Setting #4 is the slowest speed, and setting #1 is the fastest speed. Seems like it should be the other way around. The family quickly adjusted to this though, and we have not found it to be an ongoing nuisance.
Does what it is supposed to do

build.com/These are awful, cheap and clunky upside down wall attachments. The fan is super nice. Why is this wall unit so cheap and junkie? I actually paid to have it uninstalled it was so bad. For starters, it operates upside down: instead of going from off to 1 to 2 to 3 (when the fan says it has 4 speeds and only has 3), it is reversed. They are truly awful.
Speeds seem backwards

build.com/Easy to wire and install, looks great but #1 position is the fastest speed and 4 is the slowest. That seems opposite to me.
