Comments about Victoria Ghost Chair, Set of 4
Yes, they're plastic but you can CLEARLY see the quality of the chair. I decorated it with a faux fur sham on the seat and it looks even better, but don't tell Philippe Starck I did that. ;)
ghost chair
the armless version of this chair is not as "friendly" for sitting as the arm version. It is undersized and feels somewhat breakable when sitting. For the price, this is not a good choice. The armchair is the one to go with and the price point with Lumen good.
Modern Vintage
The Victoria Ghost chairs are a perfect addition to our dining room. They are comfortable and extremely stylish.
Beautiful chair

The chair was well packaged and arrived without scraches. The rows color is very subtle (reads adult and not child's chair). Looks great with my mirrored vanity table!
Nice on the eye

I had my eyes on these ghost chairs for a very long time. However, i think these are not the best decision. Here are the reasons: 1. Seating area is very small. We are a skinny family and I still see many people do not fit on these well. 2. Not very comfortable for long family meals. 3. There are already scratches on the chairs and we use these in our formal room. 4. I always see lots of dust on it as it shows everything. If you like the look of ghost chairs go with the other version with arms. I believe, at least, they give more space for your comfort. I recommend trying these before you purchase.
Kartell
Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
