Dramatically simple. A Vesper Wall Sconce by Maxim Lighting is a statement piece. Part of a collection inspired by both mid-century modern and Scandinavian contemporary, this fixture creates an upscale aesthetic with its hand-blown glass globe shade perched on a steel and marble base. Dimmer compatible, this sconce makes the ideal lighting accent for a formal living room, master bedroom or grand foyer.

I bought three of these sconces and am so excited to install them soon. The globe is larger than I thought, but it still looks good.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Maxim Lighting

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
