The Vailen Wall Sconce from Minka-Lavery takes a sculptural approach, featuring overlapping oval steel panels of varying depths that fan outward from the wall. The layered forms create dimensional shadow play across the surface, with the staggered oval arrangement giving the piece a distinctly organic character. Light is directed upward from within the layered structure, illuminating the wall and ceiling above. Constructed from steel with a dark matte finish and textured gold detailing, this dimmable sconce functions as a wall sculpture and a light fixture.

Minka-Lavery

Minka-Lavery was established in 1982 by Bill and Marian Tang as the decorative lighting division of the Minka Group, based out of Corona, CA. The duo's tactic in giving Minka-Lavery light fixtures their sense of luxury was to take inspiration from past design styles whenever possible and re-introduce them in new forms.
