Very nice modern floor lamp

I bought this a few weeks ago and really like the looks and finish. Light is dimmable and at highest level pretty bright. Two things would have made it score a 5 out of 5 - a softer light color and better instructions on the on/off dimmer feature. Figured it out but they could have put some instructions on the one page documentation they provide with the lamp.
Very intense lateral light
I just received and assembled the lamp. Assembly was clear and easy. Lamp is attractive and gives off a lot of light. However, the shade has a translucent side panel. The light from the side panel is very glaring and overwhelming. If all of the light were directed upward, it would be perfect for me. The lamp does not have a dimmer switch.
Fills room with light
I recently purchased this lamp It is of a minalist design but fills room with light I like it as it is visually non obtrusive
